Seam-Free Construction: “Lessa Faker” Choreography Excerpt 2

Working at a “slow intermediate” level, learn and practice a detailed 32-count combo, then put those steps in context with a passage of music excerpted from the Egyptian classic “Lessa Faker.” With “seam-free construction,” each movement leads into the next, facilitating your mastery of clean lines and confident transitions in advanced-level vocabulary. For those who have completed “Packed with Details” ( Lessa Faker Choreography Excerpt 1), today’s class provides a chance to review that sequence and assemble it together with the steps we learn today, but Packed with Details is not a prerequisite: each class is designed to stand on its own.

Class begins with a technique breakdowns, then progresses in nonstop flow format. The program, which does contain a warmup, is about an hour and 20 minutes long. Choreography notes are attached. (Download with your subscription or rental.)
